Cold Water Awakenings – Service on Demand 4-3-2022
"Cold Water Awakenings"
Sunday, April 3, 2022
Sermon Description:
As we turn our experiences this month of April to the new Spring and the awakening of Mother Earth with bulbs and new leaves and birdsong, our guest in the pulpit , UUSB member Tracy Haskell, shares with us her reflections on a different form of spiritual practice, both ancient and new: swimming in the icy waters of the Maine ocean and streams through the winter. With Phyllis Havens as our Worship Associate and Dave Paterson as story teller/reader, we will take a deep dive with music, poetry, prose, images and bold personal story about what it takes and what it means to let cold awaken all one’s senses to life.
