"Ancient Stories, Future Possibilities"
April 9, 2023
Sermon Description:
This week, sacred time in three traditions overlaps in Easter, Passover, and Ramadan. It is a time to celebrate! We’ll hear stories of liberation and new life, read together with the secular writer Rebecca Solnit, especially her book Hope in the Dark. These ancient and more recent stories invite us to new perspectives on the problems we face locally and globally. They help us resist despair and empower us to act in liberating and life-giving ways, even (and especially) when outcomes are uncertain.
