Sermon Description:
In honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday, our service will focus on the ongoing congregational efforts toward greater inclusion and diversity through our commitment to the UU Eighth Principle. The service is being created with Rev. Drew and our UUSB Showing Up for Racial Equity (SURE) group.

About S.U.R.E. at UUSB:
S.U.R.E. stands for Standing Up for Racial Equity. This group works to increase awareness and make changes to promote equity in the UUSB community, in Bangor, in Maine, and beyond. They host the annual UUA Common Read at UUSB, which often focuses on diversity. Racial equity includes justice for the BIPOC communities and immigrant communities.
