10:00 AM - 11:00 AM120 Park St, Bangor, ME
~ Light Amidst the Gloom ~
During the winter holidays we celebrate many ancient holidays that contrast lightness and darkness in literal and metaphorical way. Come as we reflect on these ancient stories and the value the hold for us year after year.
This service will be led by Rev. Drew Moeller with Laurie Cartier, Sue McKay, and Ben Goff as the worship team. Music will be provided by Robin Wood.
Join the Zoom Meeting with meeting code 945 3734 1164 and passcode 499026.
For those attending in person: Please be aware that we are sending a live feed to Zoom every Sunday. If you do not want to be in this live feed, please avoid the center of the sanctuary so you are not in view of the camera. After the service, we edit the recording to eliminate the Candles of Joys and Concerns and then we are posting the service to our Website. Please contact Laurie Cartier if you have any questions about our procedures.

Worship Service – 10:00AM EST
Every Sunday, we share half of our undesignated plate offerings with an organization that works toward our UU values. In December, half of the undesignated funds in the plate will go to the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter. Bangor Area Homeless Shelter is one of the organizations that the UUSB congregation voted to support with our share the plate money this year. The Bangor Area Homeless Shelter is open 365 days a year, providing Overnight Shelter, Day Services, a daily Soup Kitchen, Food Pantry, and an overnight Winter Warming Center. For more information, you can visit www.bangorareashelter.org/ or call (207) 947-0092.
We have added an option to give online through Vanco. You can give a one-time gift or set up your recurring pledge, by scanning the QR code to the right or visiting https://bit.ly/2x6uhaP. You can also find this option on our website, uubangor.org
