One of only 6 genuine tower bell instruments in Maine, and the only “real” chime in Bangor (installed 1919), the 11- bell, Meneely “C Chime” instrument will be played.

We welcome all within our community to step outside and take a listen. You are welcome to enjoy from the church lawn and surrounding areas, but please be absolutely certain to observe social distancing practices of at least 6-feet. Please remember your face mask and keep it on, while you enjoy the chimes.

Between 12 pm and 1 pm there will also be bins spaced out and placed on the sidewalk in front of the church for people to drive by and make a contribution of food as part of our UUSB second Sunday food collection. Since December 2019, we have collected over 2,000 lbs. of food! Please drop off non-perishable items to be contributed to the Ecumenical Food Pantry in Bangor.

In these trying and uncertain times, what a gift it is to be able to experience a sense of unity and celebration through music in times of isolation.
