The Reverend Andrew Moeller is a lifelong Unitarian Universalist and has been serving our congregation as the settled minister since 2016. He is a graduate of Meadville – Lombard Theological School (MDiv 2014) and has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. He is also a certified Insight Meditation teacher. “I love UU ministry and working with people of diverse religious, spiritual, racial, cultural, and sexual orientations. One of the great teachings of Unitarian Universalism is that we don’t all have to think the same to live lives of compassion, kindness, and deep meaning. UUSB is an exceptional place where people can come as they are and be accepted for who they are, and come and explore.” Rev. Drew grew up in Detroit, MI, but has lived in New England for close to 25 years. Prior to serving UUSB, he was a halftime contract minister for the Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia, NH, and served as a part-time chaplain at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia. Karen joined our staff in 2013. She comes from a varied career path that includes food service, banking, lab work, office management, plus a whole lot of volunteer work! She values balancing hard work with merriment making. She is passionate about building community and whether noodling on her uke or enjoying a cup of dark roast you'll find that there is always room for one more at her fire. Molly, originally from Patten, Maine, graduated from the University of Maine with undergraduate degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance as well as a Masters degree in Choral Conducting. In addition to being the Music Director at UUSB, she also directs New Renaissance Singers, Divisi, Husson University Singers, and teaches private voice lessons at Main Street Music Studios. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends, and her cat, Kindah. She is a lover of road trips, camping, swimming, and all things out of doors. Christine joined our staff in August 2019. She grew up in northern Massachusetts and graduated from Salem State University in 2012. With a degree in English and formal training as a teacher, Christine settled in the Bangor area. She spent a year in Japan teaching English, before returning home to her husband and Bangor. Now, her time is divided between being a wife, mother, and woman. While her time with UUSB has just started, Christine is looking forward to many years to come.
