Welcome back to the beginning of our new program year!

This Sunday, we will kick off our new program year with our traditional intergenerational Water Gathering Ritual.

As is our cherished custom, the central part of the service is everyone’s participation – by bringing a sample of water from a sacred place you visited this summer or water that represents a spiritual insight you experienced this summer. Please remember to bring your sacred water and think about what you want to share about how that water touched you, so you can keep your sharing complete and brief.

Sharing and coming together as a community make this ritual so special.  

If you cannot join us in person, a water drop-off container will be available all day Friday and Saturday until 5 PM outside the Dorothy Memorial Entrance. In addition to dropping off your water, please include a note with your name and what this water means to you—your message will be read as we add your water to our community bowl during the service.

Please remember that our Water Gathering Ritual often runs 15-20 minutes longer than most services, so please build that extra time into your Sunday plans.
