December 7: “The Big Question – What Is Hope?” with Rev. Drew Moeller & Camden Ador
This “All Congregational Worship” kicks off the holiday season with the entire congregation (young, old, and in-between) coming together to explore the idea of hope through active storytelling, movement, and special jazzy holiday music. Come and help us make the season bright with your presence.

Please note: After the service we will be collecting food for our Second Sunday food collection to support the Ecumenical Food Cupboard. There will be an open-air chimes concert during our food collection in December.
Everyday, life asks us to make choices about how we want to live. How we choose to respond can make us hopeful or set us on the path of despair. In this holiday season, what wisdom do the old stories tell us about how to live in these turbulent times?

December 21: “Reflections on the Holidays” with Sue McKay
This service emphasizes the importance of light, Hope and love in the celebrations of Hanukkah, Solstice, and Christmas.

December 21, 4:30: “Winter Solstice: Journey Through Song” with the Winter Solstice Singers
This evening service features The Winter Solstice Singers, including the UUSB Choir, Women With Wings, and other guests. This Journey Through Song features songs written by Linda Koehler, who will also be directing the Winter Solstice Singers. Attendees are invited to bring non-perishable food or financial donations to help feed our neighbors through UUSB’s food programs.
December 24, 7:00: “Christmas Eve Candlelight Service” with Rev. Drew Moeller
Ring in Christmas Eve with our traditional candlelight service, complete with familiar carols, readings, bells, and the retelling of the Christmas story. Bring your family and friends.
