Music Programming
Music is an integral part of the UUSB. There are small groups, and opportunities for individuals to participate during our worship. The adult choir meets on Thursday evenings, and sings in the worship service twice a month. Special music is also arranged for worship services when the choir is not singing. There is a Family choir which meets after the Sunday service. Another group that meets at the UUSB is Women with Wings, which meets Thursday evenings. And there are occasional drumming groups. Family Choir
The Family Choir meets most Sundays at 11:30 in the RE area. Open to all, Family Choir encourages parents and children to come share music and song for about 20 minutes. We perform occasionally during the service and will have at least one formal performance during the year.
Parents: even if you think your children won't participate, come! Letting your kids witness you sharing your voice encourages them to do the same! And, on that same note, you parents who think you "can't sing", come on down! We are a flexible, open group that believes everyone has a song in their heart!
